Ready to feel relief in just one day? Discover how the one-day protocol for depression, utilizing theta burst TMS and transcranial magnetic stimulation, can help you experience TMS for depression effectively.
What is the difference between rTMS and iTBS, also known as theta burst TMS? Both methods are types of transcranial magnetic stimulation, which is increasingly used as a TMS for depression treatment.
OCD can be stubborn, but utilizing theta burst TMS as part of a TMS protocol for obsessive compulsive disorder can provide significant relief. Additionally, transcranial magnetic stimulation has shown promise in TMS for depression, offering hope for those struggling with these challenging conditions.
At Psychiatric Care Florida, we are excited to offer the ONE-Day TMS protocol for treatment-resistant depression, an innovative approach that enhances the effectiveness and convenience of depression care through theta burst TMS. Rather than attending daily sessions for weeks, this protocol allows you to complete the entire course of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) in just one day. In approximately 10–12 hours, you’ll undergo 20 brief sessions (around 3 minutes each) of TMS for depression, supported by safe medications to enhance your brain's response.
While accelerated TMS protocols like the ONE-Day TMS treatment are highly effective, please note that they are considered out-of-network and are not covered by insurance. Currently, these services are available only on a self-pay basis.
For more information about pricing, payment options, and to determine if accelerated TMS is the right choice for you, please contact our office at (561) 336-3790.

At Psychiatric Care Florida, we’re excited to offer theta-burst TMS, a modern approach to delivering the same gentle, noninvasive brain stimulation as traditional rTMS—only in shorter, more efficient bursts.
Instead of a long, steady stream of pulses (the classic rTMS you may have heard about), theta-burst TMS utilizes tiny clusters that mimic the brain’s natural learning rhythm. The most common version, iTBS, takes just about 3 minutes per session and aims to “strengthen” the mood network; standard rTMS sessions typically last 20–40 minutes and use continuous pulses to achieve similar benefits. Think of it as two paths to the same destination: rTMS is the steady walk; iTBS is the quick, efficient jog.
For patients seeking a rapid reset, accelerated theta-burst protocols—such as ONE-Day TMS or SAINT—condense multiple short iTBS sessions into a single day or several days. While these accelerated options for TMS for depression are highly promising, they are not covered by insurance and are available on a self-pay basis. (Standard, non-accelerated transcranial magnetic stimulation is often covered by many insurance plans.)
Please contact our office to discuss which approach fits your goals, review pricing and payment options, and map out a plan that feels right for you. Call us at (561) 336-4790.

Although TMS for depression is widely recognized, there is also significant potential for theta burst TMS in treating OCD. This FDA-cleared treatment specifically targets the brain network involved in obsessions and compulsions using transcranial magnetic stimulation.
Each visit consists of two straightforward parts: a few minutes of personalized "symptom priming" (where we briefly review triggers to gently activate the OCD circuit), followed by focused magnetic stimulation delivered over the dorsomedial prefrontal cortex. Sessions typically last about 20–30 minutes, are comfortable, and occur five days a week for several weeks, often succeeded by a brief taper or maintenance plan tailored to your needs.
Coverage for OCD TMS varies by insurance, and we will verify your benefits while discussing self-pay options if necessary before your treatment begins. To determine if OCD TMS is a suitable fit for your care plan, and to review pricing and scheduling, please give us a call at (561) 336-4790.
